Better Sore Than Sorry...

Ok, so this is my fitness journey.

I'm a novice and the journey starts with me feeling sore after today's Fat Burn Class at the Gym.  This is likely to be because I was already sore from last night's P90x Core Synergistics session when I went to class.  And that's pretty much how it has been for the past 3 weeks.

...Wake up... Feel tender... Work out... Wonder what I should be eating to eat clean and lose weight... Realise that it's about losing inches and building lean muscle mass - NOT losing weight ... Again, wonder what I should therefore be eating... Wish I could see results already...






So far I have lost 6 lbs.  I wish it was more but need to focus my energy on not obsessing about the scales.  In the past 2 - 3 years I have put on around 30lbs because my weakness for convenience and junk food has caught up with me.

I want this to stop.  I want to look like I used to.  I want to be healthy, fit and happy.

Which is why you find me here - the place where I will document my mission to fitness and hopefully one day success story.

Hopefully this site will be a source of information ultimately.  Initially however, I am hoping this will be somewhere some of you can come to see you are not alone in your journey and if you are the mentoring type, a place for you to pass on your tips and any information that may help me and anyone reading.
