Update On The Exercise and Weightloss

Ok, so the weight loss is now at 9 lbs.  I had told myself that I would purchase this beauty when I had lost 7 lbs but I've changed my mind.

I am now thinking that I will get it after I have lost a stone.  Having said that, I think I am going to start measuring my success against inch loss rather than weight loss.   It seems to be what I should be focusing on to ensure that I stay motivated.

I am due to weigh in tomorrow but I've had a sneaky peak on the scales and I think that my weight is going to remain the same this week.  It's been a tough week personally, for reasons I won't go in to, but it has meant that I've been less active and disciplined.  That's not to say that I've been really bad, but I don't feel quite as on it as usual.  Hoping to get my head in the right place over the next few days.

Exercise I have done since Monday -

  • Gym - rowing machine for 2000m
  • Treadmill - 20 mins HIIT (well I think that's what it was - alternated between 10.5 for 2 mins and 9 for 2 mins)
  • Kenpo X (part of the P90x routine and by far my favourite!)
  • Body Rock.TV HIIT routine
  • Nike Training Club Wipeout Routine

This isn't as much as I would usually and I haven't done anything today but I've just not been able to face it.

I am going to do Core Synergistic (another P90x routine) s in about half an hour though - just so I can keep up some form of momentum.  And of course I don't need to leave the house for that - which is crucial to me right now.

I'm really keen however to start lifting more weights.  I've asked the boyf to order and pick me some up so I can do it at home and also I'm going to try and muscle my way in to the weight area at the gym.

Like many other girls I suppose when starting out - I just find it so daunting!
